Well, I am 2 hours away from work sitting at a Comfort Inn. I have to be here for a month, and help set mods for a remodel at the Camden, DE store. I don't want to be here. Luckily, my friend Derek came along. If he weren't here, I'd go insane.
I tried calling a few people I thought lived close by. I called Lola, but she hasn't gotten back to me. I've been just doing stupid things like playing Tetris and eating.
We met some cool kids next door. They are having problems getting a dorm at their college, so their school is paying for them to stay in the Inn. The one is really outgoing and keeps asking us questions about our goals and interests. The other guy is awesome. Whenever I'm in the shower, I can hear his music through the vents and It's great because I didn't bring a radio. The only music I hear is in the car. Next week I'm going to have to get an Ipod charger so I don't go any more crazy then I already am.
The only thing keeping me going is the fact that they pay for me to live, eat, and pay for my gas. Plus, I have day time hours and get off on the weekends. I also have the option to go home on weekends If I want. (And I do, because I miss Eric, Lena, Laura, and Roy like crazy.) :(
On a lighter note, this is ending up to be a good experience, and overall I am glad that I came. I finally got to try out my new car on a long trip, and it's doing very well. I got the oil changed and stuff.. so I feel good about that. :)
I haven't updated in a while, so that's what has been going on in my life.
(P.s. My chinchilla died. He was given away to my neighbor about a year ago. A few days ago I was told he died. They don't know what happened. I am upset, because they were going to let me take him back when I got my apartment. I will get another one, but it won't be the same as Shovels. I love you, and I will miss you baby.)
